Description Discover the “day that will live in infamy” as you
experience our Day at Pearl Harbor Tour. Narrated by a professional
guide, learn all about the events of December 7, 1941.
Your journey begins At the USS Arizona Memorial visitor’s center. First,
see actual footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor in a captivating
documentary film. Ride the Navy Boat to the Arizona herself and stand
just a few feet above the wreckage. See the “Black Tears of the Arizona”
as you remember the 1,177 fallen heroes, many of whom still lay entombed
by the ship.
After the Arizona Memorial, cross over to Ford Island and board the
Mighty Mo! Explore this battle-hardened vessel and you’ll stumble across
her six, 405mm cannons and also the exact location where the surrender
documents were signed to end WWII.
Remain on Ford Island and be among the first to experience the awesome
Pacific Aviation Museum. From Japanese Zero’s to US Mustangs, see the
planes that took part in the war of the pacific. If you like, pilot them
as well in world class flight simulators. The Pacific Aviation Museum is
an excellent way to entertain the whole family and will surely be a
memorable stop in your Day at Pearl Harbor tour.
The Day at Pearl Harbor tour covers three aspects of the WWII era.
First, the Arizona Memorial marks the U.S. entrance into WWII. Next, the
Battleship Missouri represents the end of the war, because quite
literally the surrender papers were signed on her decks in Tokyo Bay.
And last, the Pacific Aviation museum shows us about the fighting years,
when ace pilots dotted the skies. Don’t miss out on one great tour that
shows you it all!
