Description
This is a great combo tour that will take you to historic Pearl Harbor
and the Aloha Flea Market in the same day. So immerse yourself in
history at Hawaii’s number one attraction and after that do some serious
souvenir shopping.
Upon arrival at Pearl Harbor, see what it was like on this fateful
Sunday morning in December 1941 when Japanese fighter planes attacked
the United States Pacific Fleet. Watch a dramatic film containing actual
footage of the attack and after that board a Navy shuttle boat that will
take you our to the sunken battleship USS Arizona. A memorial platform
was built right on top of it and from here you can see the battleship
resting below the surface. After more than 65 years, there’s still oil
leaking out of it, also called the “Black Tears of the Arizona.” Back on
land you’ll visit the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters.
Later, you’ll head over to the Aloha Flea Market or “Swap Meet,” the
largest flea market in Hawaii. It takes place at the Aloha Stadium,
which also hosts the NFL all-star game and the Pro-Bowl. Here you can
