Historic Pearl Harbor, tropical pineapple and banana
plantations, big wave surfing beaches, lush rainforests and remote
fishing villages – this and many other attractions are waiting to be
explored on this unforgettable full-day Oahu island excursion.
Step back in time and relive the most “infamous” day in U.S. history –
the attack of Pearl Harbor. It was on this fateful Sunday morning in
1941 when Japanese fighter planes zeroed-in on the U.S. Pacific Fleet
that lay at anchor at Pearl Harbor on Oahu and after this surprise
attack left the place in total destruction.
Today, Pearl Harbor is Hawaii’s number one visitor attraction. Upon
arrival, you’ll watch a dramatic film with footage of the actual attack
and then board a Navy shuttle boat which will take you out to the sunken
battleship USS Arizona. A memorial platform was built right on top of it
and from here you can see the battleship resting below the surface.
See the “Black Tears of the Arizona,” as the oil is called that’s still
leaking out of it after more than 65 years and visit the Shrine Room,
which bears the names of all 1,177 crew members who perished aboard.
After your visit to Pearl Harbor, your tour guide will take you from a
momentous historical event to natural beauty and bliss. You’ll see the
best and most beautiful locations Oahu has to offer. So if you’re
looking for scenic mountain lookouts, white-sand beaches and
picture-perfect tropical vistas, you’ll love this tour.
All along the way, you’ll travel in comfort in our spacious mini-coach,
featuring reclining seats and large windows for panoramic views. Reserve
your seats now; this tour is incredibly popular and sells out fast.Details
