Triple the fun while on your Oahu vacation. This is a great combo tour
that will take you to Oahu’s three main attractions, plus many other
beautiful spots. You’ll basically circumnavigate the entire island!
First up on your island excursion is historic Pearl Harbor, the site
where Japanese fighter planes attacked the U.S. Pacific Fleet in 1941.
Relive the “day that will live in infamy,” as President Roosevelt called
this fateful Sunday morning when after the surprise attack Pearl Harbor
was destroyed. The battleship USS Arizona sank and with it its 1,177
crew members on board.
You’ll watch a short film containing actual footage of the attack and
after that board a Navy shuttle boat that will take you out to the
sunken wreckage. A platform was built right on top of it and from here
you can see the outline of the ship below the water’s surface.
After your complete Pearl Harbor Tour you’ll head north to the Dole
Plantation. Learn all about Hawaii’s pineapple-growing history and try
their delicious pineapple ice cream. Your next stop will be the
world-famous big wave surfing beaches of Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach on
Oahu’s North Shore. Heading east, you’ll arrive at the Polynesian
Cultural Center. Get ready for a canoe ride through the center’s lagoon
and see traditional villages of several Polynesian island nations, such
as Samoa, Tonga and Tahiti.
After a mouthwatering BBQ buffet lunch, you’ll head south and see the
filming locations of popular Hollywood movies, such as Jurassic Park.
Near Kaneohe, you’ll visit the peaceful Byodo-In Temple, located in a
hidden valley and surrounded by a tropical lagoon. All of this and many
more amazing lookout points are waiting to be discovered on this
exciting multi-destination tour.
