Description
Let your personal chauffeur and tour guide show you the best
spots of Oahu’s south shore. On this luxurious private tour,
you’ll have your tour guide all to yourself. It’s ideal if
you don’t want to spend an entire day touring, but still
venture beyond Waikiki and explore some exciting sights on
the island’s south shore.
You’ll be picked up from your Waikiki hotel and drive east
towards the southeastern tip of the island. Makapuu Point is
an excellent lookout point from where you’ll enjoy views of
Oahu’s southern and eastern coastline and the neighbor
island of Molokai.
Located nearby is the Halona Blowhole, an underwater lava tube
that shoots water up to 30 feet into the air when waves crash into
it. From here you also have a good view of Sandy Beach, a nice
white-sand beach that looks inviting but is one of the most
dangerous beaches on Oahu, also called the “beach of broken necks
and bones.” It’s a bodyboarder’s heaven, but only for experts. Even
though it’s not recommended for swimming, it’s one of the best
beaches to take pictures of waves that form tunnels as they break
very close to the shore.
On your way back towards Waikiki, your guide will show you Kahala,
also known as millionaire’s row or the Beverly Hills of Oahu. Here
you can see marvelous multi-million dollar oceanfront mansions,
surrounded by elaborate landscaping.
Since this is a private island excursion, you can adjust the tour
based on your interests and schedule. Want to spend some more time
at a certain location, no problem! Just let your friendly guide know
and ask as many questions as you like. All along the way, you’ll
travel in our spacious mini-coach, featuring reclining seats and
large windows for panoramic views.
