World War II Start To End Oahu Historic Tour - Tour 8B

Description

Get to know Pearl Harbor inside and out. This is a complete start to end tour on which you’ll get to see the sunken battleship USS Arizona, the impressive battleship “Mighty Mo,” the USS Bowfin submarine and the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters. Plus, you’ll tour historic Honolulu and the Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific. It’s a great tour for history buffs or anyone interested in Pearl Harbor and World War II history.

Upon arrival at Pearl Harbor, you’ll watch a dramatic film containing footage of the actual attack. After that, board a Navy shuttle boat that will take you out to the Arizona Memorial. A platform was built right on top of the sunken battleship and from here you’ll be able to see the outlines of the ship resting below the water’s surface. After more than 65 years, there’s still oil leaking out of it, called the “Black Tears of the Arizona.”

Visit the Shrine Room, which bears the names of the 1,177 crew members who perished aboard. After that you’ll head over to the impressive USS Missouri battleship, nicknamed the “Mighty Mo.” It was here where the Japanese signed the surrender documents, ending World War II for the United States. Later, you’ll also see the USS Bowfin submarine and the headquarters of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

After your complete Pearl Harbor tour, you’ll drive through historic Honolulu. Your tour guide will show you the Iolani Palace, the Kamehameha Statue and the Civic Center and tell you many interesting facts about these attractions. On top of Punchbowl, a small hill with a volcanic crater overlooking Honolulu, you’ll drive through the National Cemetery of the Pacific, the last resting place of many fallen heroes who died during the Pearl Harbor attack, the Korean and Vietnam wars.

This is a popular Pearl Harbor tour and seats sell out fast. Reserve yours now.

My tour was just awesome. Kanoe was fantastic. Exceptional! If all employees are like her, then I would definitely book again. She gave so much of herself to give a great tour. I had a ball. Everything about my tour was marvelous.

The guide gave great information and was hilarious. We learned so much about World War two and Pearl Harbor during this tour. We enjoyed the tour tremendously. We saw things that we did not expect to see on the tour. We will highly recommend our tour to anyone that asks.

Thank you for a very enjoyable tour of Pearl Harbor. Who there was so much history in one location. Bravo Zulu! As a Navy Veteran, I especially enjoyed walking on board the USS Missouri and the Arizona Memorial made this salty dog cry. Great Job!

This tour was amazing. I am very glad we booked this because I realize that if we would have gone on our own, we would not have seen or known about as many things. Our guide did an amazing job telling us all about each attraction.
