Following a flight from Lihue, Kauai, our expert local guide will take you from the airport to Pearl Harbor and the great attractions located in one of the most well-known harbors in the world. The first attraction your tour visits is the USS Arizona Memorial. Filled with history and tragedy, the memorial is built directly over the sunken USS Arizona. As you look down into the ship, enjoy the stories and history of the tragic attacks from a guide on board the memorial. The oil leaking from the ship to the surface adds to the aura of the great ship, while you pay respects to those who fell with the Arizona.Explore the inside of an authentic submarine through the USS Bowfin submarine, give the name "Pearl Harbor Avenger" for its extensive work in battle and helping to put an end to the war. Across the harbor at Ford Island is the Pacific Aviation Museum and the USS Missouri Battleship. A guided tour through both museums explores integral components in the United States battle. Stand beneath the enormous gun turrets on board the USS Missouri and view the Japanese Instrument of Surrender while on the deck of the Mighty Mo.
